While Pastor Jamie Rasmussen is on the last week of his study break, Dr. Darryl DelHousaye, president of Phoenix Seminary, stopped by to speak to our group.
Darryl's message is highly instructive as he discusses how we might understand miracles, coming from the vantage point of a people who do not see the miracles that Jesus performed.
One might ask why Jesus performed miracles in the first place, and Darryl responds, "if Jesus is to bring belief in his disciples, and is truly the author of creation as he claimed, then the only way to demonstrate this is to break the very laws of nature that he created."
Turning water into wine was one of the first miracles, and Darryl desires that we see Messiah, and our Creator in Jesus Christ.
Here is the biblical narrative for Dr. DelHousaye's message in John 2.

This is a superb teaching on miracles...perhaps one of the best intellectual yet practical teachings...thanks so much for posting this.
