Editorial Note

With the construction project at Alliance Defense Fund, and the very busy Christmas season at Scottsdale Bible Church, we are currently missing two of Pastor Jamie's talks recorded on video.

Please know that when the dust settles, and I receive these two videos, I will get them posted on the website.

In the meantime, Merry Christmas, and we'll see you back at Marketplace Bible Study at 7:00 AM sharp on Wednesday, January 4th, back at the Alliance Defense Fund building.

Note: Temporary Location Change

I want to remind each of you that the Marketplace Bible Study will be meeting at Scottsdale Bible Church (at the Towne Center Building) for the next 3 weeks, November 30, December 7th and December 14th as the ADF meeting rooms will not be available to us (while some construction work is being done).

Pastor Jamie Rasmussen will be teaching the sessions and we hope you all will be able to join us at the Scottsdale Bible Church location.

The attached map shows the location at the Towne Center Building at the Scottsdale Bible Church Campus at the intersection of Shea Boulevard and Miller Road. Please park in the South Parking area indicated on the map.

Directions to Scottsdale Bible Church:

Take the 101 Freeway to Shea Boulevard, Go west on Shea Boulevard until you reach Miller Road, Turn left/south on Miller Road and park in the South Parking area. (If you get to Scottsdale Road, you have gone too far.)

New Location for Marketplace Bible Study

Beginning this coming Wednesday, we will be holding the Marketplace Bible Study each week in the Alliance Defence Fund offices at 15100 N. 90th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.

Here is a map showing directions from our former location to the new one.  Please park in the yellow shaded areas and enter the building by the flag pole.

Summer Break

Audio Card Malfunction

Dear Men of the Marketplace,

I received an email from Don Baltzer that the audio card, which was recording our most recent session, "errored out".

This means that we will not be able to upload Jamie's most recent session. 

We apologize for this inconvenience, and will work hard to have things back to normal next week.

Marketplace Bible Study Resumes on September 15th, 2010

On September 15th, 2010, at 7:00 a.m. sharp, The Marketplace Bible Study will again resume its weekly gathering to study God's word.  We look forward to Pastor Jamie Rasmussen's teaching, and Dave Cavan's gracious hosting.

Dr. Barry Asmus - Economic Forecast for 2010

While Pastor Jamie Rasmussen is on study break, noted economist Dr. Barry Asmus came to share his thoughts on the economic outlook for 2010.

Dr. Asmus also shared with us the world-wide revolution that has been occurring in the area of economic freedom, and shared with us stories from his recent trip to visit the President of Peru.
